  • Good Neighbours Scheme


    The Good neighbours Scheme's objectives are to provide additional support for the less able, and older people in Bishop's Waltham.


    Good Neighbours are known as Befrienders and are made up of local residents interested in helping lonely and isolated people who live in our town. We are able to sit companionably sharing a coffee, help with accompanied and unaccompanied shopping, and assist in practical ways with minor household tasks, or by providing emotional support by offering a listening ear. Befrienders can help on a short term regular basis, or as a one off event.
     
    If anyone believes that they could benefit from some good old fashioned neighbourly help then please telephone the BWGN co-ordinator on 07530565248.
